Not a Civilian Redux

In the previous post, my “Not a Civilian?” run through the alphabet concluded with the letter W. Letters Q, X, Y and Z were no-shows because there are not many schools with names that start with those letters. As a result, the pickins were slim and no one qualified as not a civilian.

Perusing the 4,745 school yearbook images collected by Starla, I discovered a few things.

– A number of schools held Halloween dances where all the attendees showed up crossdressed.

– Starla’s images included 37 male faculty members crossdressed for Halloween. About half looked like “men in dresses,” but the other half put in some extra effort, which tripped my not-a-civilian radar. Photo captions indicated that a handful crossdressed on other Halloweens, which lit up my not-a-civilian radar like a Christmas tree!

It was not an easy task selecting each “Not a Civilian?” ...so difficult that on a few occasions, I could not select just one non-civilian. In those cases, I posted multiple non-civilians. So rather than stop cold turkey with the letter W, over the next few weeks, I will post more images of those who were close to being selected “Not a Civilian?” during the first run through the alphabet.

Google This Dept.

Recently, Mikki wrote, “I love all those clips from films you share with us. I have a bunch of TG/CD films and see items on Femulate that I haven't heard of. Do you have a special source for these photos/films? Can you share it with me?”

I replied, “Occasionally, readers alert me to femulations they encounter watching films and television, but I find most of them myself using Google.”

Google searches for “crossdressing films” or “drag films” sometimes turns up something new, but usually I use a femulation I know to bait Google into giving up other femulations. For example, if I Google “tony curtis crossdressing,” Google comes back with a load of images of Curtis and Jack Lemmon crossdressing in the film Some Like It Hot, as well as images of other actors crossdressing in other films and on television. I will be familiar with most of Google's finds, but there is almost always an image or two I don't recognize, which becomes new fodder for the Femulator slot, like the film femulation below.

Meanwhile, the image at the top of the post is another Google find, but there was no information about its source. Looks like it's from a television show geared towards school-aged kids, but I could be wrong. Can anybody solve this mystery femulation?

My Quest Dept.

In yesterday's post, I mentioned that after my purge in 1983, I no longer owned a single photo of myself en femme prior to age 32... or so I thought.

Fiona reminded me that years ago, I recalled that there were photos of me en femme for Halloween at age 25 that appeared in my school's yearbook. The yearbook was lost in the purge, but you can read about my quest for those yearbook photos in this post from December 2011.

The Girls of Autumn

The "boys of summer" become the "girls of autumn" when they return to school and volunteer to don dresses and high heels for their high school's next womanless event. Whether it be Gender Bender Day, a womanless beauty pageant, Opposite Day, a womanless fashion show, a Cinderfella pageant or even Halloween, there are gurls in civilian clothing willing to put on their frillies for whatever cause comes along, just as Mark Ruth (above) did for the "Miss America" pageant conducted at Wynnewood (Oklahoma) High School in 1974.

Miss Ruth's photo is one of 160 new photos of the girls of autumn uncovered by Starla from online high school yearbooks. I uploaded Starl's new images to flickr where you may view them in two ways:

Womanless Pinterested

Please excuse my lack of blog posts the last few days. I had two freelance projects to do, which occupied most of my free time the last four days.

I finished the projects yesterday and now I can get back in the groove and return to writing posts for my favorite blog!

Regular readers of this blog may recall the huge collection of womanless pageant images that Starla clipped from online high school yearbooks.  She sent her findings to me on a regular basis and I mentioned them here, then posted them on flickr.

I have not heard from Starla since July 2015. I miss her and you probably do too if you are a fan of womanless beauty pageants.

Stan Jones has stepped in and taken Starla's place clipping images from online sources and every day or two, Stan posts a half dozen or so new images on his School Womanless Beauty Pageants Pinterest board. I find it amazing that Stan keeps discovering new images from the last century, but he does!

Starla's School Stars

I had not heard from Starla since last year and I figured that the well had run dry — that there were no more student femulations to be dredged up from the online high school yearbooks. So it was a surprise to receive an e-mail from Starla over the weekend with 106 new photos attached.

Hands down, Miss Todd Matlock (pictured right) wins the Most Likely to Still Be Femulating Today Award from this latest batch of photos, which are now posted on flickr.

Back to School and Back to Skirts

The holidays are ending and the kids will be going back to school. That means young men will be donning dresses to participate in school-sponsored activities in which boys emulate girls. Our friend Starla gifted us with 100 images from past crossdressing school activities that she culled from online school yearbooks. One hundred new images are now in the Yearbooks collection on flickr and you may view them in two ways:

Femulating Faculty

Starla sent along another 99 images of femulating students (and one faculty member) that she found in online school yearbooks.

I always suspect that something is up trans-wise when a faculty member femulates along with the students and in this batch, we find a student-teacher who "shows off his feminine side on Halloween." Does Miss Waugh's perfect wig or cleanly shaved legs or slingback pumps hint that she shows off her feminine side on other occasions? Just wondering.

One of my high school teachers femulated at my high school for some occasion, which I cannot recall. I learned later that she femulated on other occasions that had nothing to do with school if you know what I mean.

Back to School

The kids are all back to school and all the femulating students will be looking forward to any opportunity to don their lady apparel and sashay down the hallways for their school’s upcoming gender swaps, womanless beauty pageants, Halloween festivities, womanless fashion shows… any opportunity for a boy to become the girl of his dreams!

Jay Black (above) impressed her classmates at Denver’s Lincoln High School back in 1987 when she showed them how to walk like an Egyptian. Jay’s photo is just one of over 100 new femulations handpicked by Starla from online high school yearbooks.

Back to School

It won't be long before the kids are back to school and once back, they will be hatching plans to dress the males as females for a variety of womanless functions, all of which bypassed me in my school days, gosh darn it!
