Artist Grayson Perry is one of my heroes because he does not hide being trans. Rather, he is completely open about the fact that he has a feminine persona (named "Claire').

Paul Whitehead is a painter and graphic artist known for his surrealistic album covers for artists on the Charisma Records label in the 1970s, such as Genesis and Van der Graaf Generator. (source: Wikipedia)
His alter ego is Trisha van Cleef, who is also a painter with a few CD covers in her portfolio.
Paul is very public about Trisha and as such, is one of my heroes/heroines.

Lauralee e-mailed me that actress, singer, artist, and writer Suzie Plakson is 6'1-1/2" tall. Our height arbitrator rounds that out to 6'2" and I added Ms. Plakson to the Famous Females of Height List.
