It was nice to get out en femme. I wore a new red sweater dress from Venus. I usually don't do red, but this dress looked good on me, so I may not shy away from red in the future! My black patent chunky block heel shoes were comfortable from start to finish and the new red lipstick that I bought from Avon matched the red of the dress. I felt like a million bucks!
Nailing It
Awhile back, I had stocked up when there was a close-out sale for Kiss stick-on nails. I am running out of nails from that purchase and the ones that I have left have lost their adhesiveness and fall off as soon as I put them on. So I did not wear nails on Wednesday and it’s time to restock my nail collection.
Your Opinion
Planning to shut down the blog then changing my mind resulted in lots of comments and emails (over 250 in all). Most were positive – supporting my decision whatever I decided to do and thanking me for the previous 17+ years of blogging.
Your words opened my eyes about what this blog means to so many of you. Over and over again you mentioned that this blog motivated you to exit the closet en femme and mix it up with civilians. So the goal of this blog has been achieved hundreds of times over and that does my heart good.
Thanks for returning from the Darkness. For years I've started the day reading your blog and Rhonda's Escape. There is always something to be learned, appreciated, or admired along with something that brings a smile. You look great in red and the picture proves it. I wish you years more of wearing beautiful colors like red, Cait
ReplyDeleteStephanie sometimes is there hidden meaning to the neon signs that line times square around Stanas place?
ReplyDeleteI use Impress nails - and in over 20 years I have had a "nail malfunction" only once! They stay on through MOST situations and they offer a Wide Style for our masculine thumbs. I used to buy them at Walgreens, but they are becoming scarce there. So I just stocked up on some through Amazon.
ReplyDeleteStana you beautiful in your red dress, classy and elegant. I'm sure it was a delightful lunch for all the ladies!
ReplyDeleteThank you for returning Stana, your the first stop every morning for me,,and love that red dress!! Trina

So happy to see that you’ve decided to continue. I’m also glad that you heard from so many people and hope you realize how much we all appreciate what you do.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have you back. Even on a rainy day in Chicago there’s your sunshine. You’re my first stop every morning. I wear women’s underwear and pants/jeans everyday everywhere. Maybe not a true cross dresser but what I enjoy. I learned a lot from this blog.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion wearing an article of the opposite gender is considered cross dressing. Even if it’s just undies. There’s many options about this subject. Just one.
DeleteHi Glennda, I agree with the anonymous comment: in my opinion, there's no amount or type of women's clothes you need to wear in order to be considered a crossdresser. Slip into your panties and you're now part of the CD sisterhood!
DeleteI spend a lot of time when I'm in 100% boy mode thinking about what feminine clothes I would like to be wearing in each occasion of my life. I read somewhere that is a "crossdreamer" and I just think that is the loveliest, most fabulous label I would want❤️
Life goes on. I'm happy to see that you will continue to be an example for folks that just want to blend in as "normal" civilians...😉 You DO set an online example nowadays to replace those defunct magazines of the past that inspired so many of us.
ReplyDeleteNever leave us please
