    1. Dear Paula, thank you. My "out and about" time is local and travel is on foot, bus or tram (European cities have good transport networks) As an older lady, love being addressed as Madame and being given a seat, usually by young women.

Look like a lady, dress like a lady behave like a lady and you'll be treated like a lady

  2. Re: Restroom Etiquette:
When I was growing up my mother was the only female. I had two brothers, my father, my grandfather, and a male cousin in the house. Guess what? We left the toilet seats up. My mother said she felt like a cook at a monastery.
As a man on estrogen, I was standing outside the ladies room wearing men's business casual waiting for my wife to use the restroom. Some woman walked up to me and asked me if I was waiting to use the restroom.
I can be dressed in conventional male attire and I get strange looks when I enter a men's restroom. If I'm dressed en femme, I can enter a women's restroom without any reaction. So I have a reverse situation as I don't pass well as a man. One thing masculine about me: I'm a bass singer. So I MUST soften my voice when I speak to strangers while presenting as a woman, which is now all the time except for rare occasions.

  3. I hope they left the seat down! My brother left it up once and I damn near fell in it because I forgot to check before I sat down to pee. Yes, I live FT and why would you ever stand up?
