I sometimes have mixed feelings of the AI images, but I love the one today! Great play on words Stana! I know you are a famous female of height, but I hope you do not feel as tall as that poor drenched damsel. Must be a synthetic wig she is wearing, as the rain seems to have no effect, lol. April - Fetching as always! Thank you for sharing your picture. It looks like it was a fabulous event. : ) Norah
Actually, given the flooding occurring around the country some people are going to have to make sure their wardrobe is on high ground or at least on the upper floor or the attic. That can be a weather induced purging of ruined clothes. On the less rainy side of the weather I enjoy the fall and winter light rain in the Great Pacific Northwest. As a six-footer I feel self conscious of my height and bulk. I enjoy evening strolls in one particular safe residential neighborhood that has two grocery stores, restaurants and shops. An open umbrella is great for shielding my masculine face and somewhat obscuring my height. Carrying a tote bag with the logo of one of the grocery stores gives the appearance of a woman coming home from the office and stopping for a few grocery items. I also love the cool breeze of the fall as it plays with the skirt of my dress and slip.
Looking as glamorous as that our hero / heroine will be a magnet for potential rescuers. (S)he is clearly channeling the damsel in distress look. Penny from Edinburgh.
A frend of mine who moved from the UK back to Poland was flooded recently. The basement was full and the ground floor had 1.5 m of foul smelling brown water in it. It's gone now but the mess will take a long time to clear up.

ReplyDeleteIs this related to the current floods in Central Europe?

Ha! My first thought upon seeing this photo was "damsel in distress awaits her hunky hero".
