I can laugh now at that Funnies but back in the 8th grade when I suffered from gynecomasia I'm sure I would not have laughed. I can remember the guys laughing at me in gym class because of my "little boobies" or when they hid a bra in my school locker and called me "bra boy". While it now has been over 60+ years. and would fit in a 38C bra with no problem it's ok to enjoy my "girls" and laugh and remember the good ol' days and be glad I still don't need a girdle.

ReplyDeleteI have had female-like breasts since puberty – probably gynecomastia, but I was never tested for it. I put up with a lot of abuse in my teens and beyond over my breasts and learned to live with it in boy mode and embrace it in girl mode. The cartoon above depicts real life experiences that I had on more than one occasion. And so it goes.
