Well, I don't know that "Ethel" would be all that happy to be mistaken for "Fred". Vivian Vance was perpetually irritated that she was paired with a man who was 22 years her senior AND cast as the "older woman" even though she was just two years older than Lucille Ball. On the other hand, I doubt she was so irritated that she didn't cash her paychecks! Ha!
On the question as asked, I can only say, "Yes". I call it a tie! Oh my, wouldn't I love to be the tall blonde on the right?!?!?
MikkiB If I was Vivian Vance I would be irritated if I was compared with a man 22 years my senior and cast as the older woman Pay cheques over rule nearly every objection there is As to the blonde, on the right, Do I want her or be her? It would be a tough decision if I ever had the choice Lucy
I have a feeling Ethel might ot be very happy if she is mistaken for Fred
