Rachel McNeill in Richmond, Virginia, at the “Miss Fisher Con” (a 1920s cos-play experience for those of us who love Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries on Acorn and PBS), where her and her wife spent three days. Rachel has several 1920s outfits. This one came from Unique Vintage, including the shoes. The cloche-style hat came from Boston Millenary. |
She's definitely channeling Phryne. I love those shows for the elegance of the outfits as well as the poise and beauty of the star.
ReplyDeleteWhat next, Rachel, "Thoroughly Modern Millie"?? You look fabulous. "The family that cos plays together, stays together"!
ReplyDeleteAwesome look. Love the show as well as it's spinoff with Periguin Fisher set in the 60's. Acorn is one of the best values of streaming channels if you like British, Australian, and Canadian shows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments. I absolutely the couture in which the costume director dresses Essie Davis in the show, and if you haven’t seen the movie, you should. Jack and Phryne FINALLY, FINALLY have a real embrace and kiss.
ReplyDeleteLove all your posts you are keeping dressing fun Thank you
