an older trans chun of mine went to see "homicidal" at the cinema on release, when he was in his mid-teens. he said he was blown away by the "twist", and that might have been a factor in consequently going down the trans path. but also: that when he found out on later years it was actually a woman playing a man pretending to be a man, he was most disappointed.
ReplyDeletei have to say i feel likewise, as i think women playing transvestites or transexuals in films and tv is a complete cop out. although i love 50's/60's american lo-fi schlock horror as done by the likes of william castle and roger corman, i've never actually seen the film in question for that very reason!

ReplyDeleteI don't think those heels are chunky, I think they are blades. Never had them, I'd imagine easier than stiletto, harder than a full chunk. But... almost a cheat. from the side they can appear stiletto.
