I’m loving your yearbook collection. I chipped in a few quid (one of your readers from the other side of the Atlantic) to help get them back on Flickr and it was worth every penny. Countless wonderful images and, as illustrated by the example above of young Wade in Arkansas, behind every one seems to lie a fascinating story
CD/TG MEDIA ALERT! CHECK OUT LAST NIGHT'S 'JIMMY KIMMEL' (Wed, Aug,25) RuPaul was guest host, and this nights game with citizens on the street was: Are YOU a Drag Queen? Several men on the street interviewed as to 'Are you a drag queen?' Check out your own 'radar' by guessing who/who is not... HINT: Check the heightened 'startle response' of the individuals on the faces--specifically eyes/eyebrows of the interviewees when asked "Are you a drag queen?". Velma
Some High School womanless pageant contestants are so realistic it is impossible to tell what they are without seeing the photo caption

I don’t think that was the first or last time that Wade was en femme. He just looks too good and is definitely enjoying his mother’s handiwork.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stana - that brought a smile to my face. Probably that was because it contained an essential truth about our feelings.

Wow ! I wish that my Mom had been like Mrs. Barnes !
ReplyDeleteWade looks WAY to happy and comfortable en femme - this certainly couldn't have been his first foray into femininity .

DeleteI love your pictures
ReplyDeleteIt was almost certainly not Wade's first time dressed up by Jackie Barnes and when he signed up to compete in the pageant they were in it to win it.
