Maybe it wasn't caused by a flood, as in today's cartoon, but how many of us have been "caught" in a situation where we had the exact same thought?
Mine was several years back when a friend knocked at my door. I was mostly fully dressed to go to a Meetup event that night. Maybe I should say, "more than mostly" because while my hair wasn't done yet, it was up in curlers! He didn't faint or dismiss me as a friend and I didn't "go up in smoke" being found out! Clearly, I lived to tell!
