Bruce Davison femulates in a 1985 episode of television’s Alfred Hitchcock Presents. You can view the episode on the dailymotion. Thanks to Aunty Marlena for informing me about this femulation.
Was that the episode where a transgender woman goes to a plastic surgeon for FFS, but he's a drug addict and ends up mutilating her? And early positive portrayal of a transgender person. And she does get her revenge.
According to IMDB, in "An Unlocked Window" two nurses spend a terrifying night in a secluded large house in the country while there's a serial killer on the loose.
Hitchcock was the exception. All the other programs would have the nurse being rescued. I let myself be guided by that old convention and was anticipating the Bruce Davison nurse to be an undercover cop who saves the day/night. How he would have known the bad guy would show up there was another "convention" that was used a little too often but rarely explained. Thanks for the link, it was a good episode.
