Three Strikes and You’re Out
Last week, they postponed the True Colors Conference. Sunday evening, they cancelled Hamvention. Monday evening Tuesday morning, they postponed cancelled the Transgender Lives Conference. So all three conferences where I was presenting have been affected by the Coronavirus, also known as the “Trump Flu.”
Damn!
On a happier note, Peaches alerted me to an intriguing article about British cartoonist Steven Appleby, who crossdresses full-time.

ReplyDeleteAfter our discussion about the Katy Keene show and the unfortunate drag personification of the one character, along comes a breath of fresh air. Although I've only seen one eppy so far, "Dispatches from Elsewhere" has a real-life trans woman on the show, Eve Lindley. Reviews for her have been great and she was awesome in the first eppy. (I was also sooooo jelly of her outfits during the show but excited to see what she wears in the future.) While reviews have been mixed through 4 eppys, the show is quite different than anything else (sort of like trans girls) and I personally like different. The fact that she is representing is a bonus, as far as I concerned! Anywho, here's a link to an article I just read about her...
