There are a couple of Halloween party opportunities next week, but they conflict with the World Series schedule. Normally, it would not be a problem, but this year my Boston Red Sox are representing the American League in the Series.
This is only the seventh time this has occurred in my lifetime, whereas this will be my 67th Halloween, so I may put my Halloween costume away to wear next Halloween and watch the World Series.

You're lucky because this year Halloween is on a Wednesday. That means there will be parties on the weekend before, on the day of Halloween, and on the weekend after. Plenty of time for both fun costume partying and also for baseball.
ReplyDeleteIf the Series goes 7 games, the 7th game is Halloween night. If that happens, I will just go out trick or treating Halloween day! LOL
DeleteA Halloween rain check? :-)
ReplyDeleteGood one, Connie!
DeleteWith a green monster and a "Curse of the Bambino" (The Return of....?), The BoSox are already Halloween-ready.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I really like that New York and Co. outfit. The hair accessory is a nice touch, and something I've been experimenting with lately. It's so hard to change the style of a wig, but a scarf or headband can, at least, change-up the look.(baseball pun only intentional after I had unwittingly written it and then left it in)
Be beautiful and record the game. And the fact that youse guys beat my Yankees got nottin ta do wit it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of a Halloween party in my circle of friends. I am attending work in my dress and I'll be working a "trunk or treat" event after I get out of work. The woman who runs it said to expect up to 500 kids (and families) to attend it. I was going to keep my outfit a secret but I've shown the weblink to most of the women at work. Wow, I got some complements on my choice! I'm looking forward to a full day of being dressed. Who knows, we may go out to dinner again after we're done!
ReplyDeleteBOSOX will beat Milwaukee or L.A. in six or less. No worries.
ReplyDeletebaseball if there is a chance the Series ends that night. Else, party
ReplyDeleteYou could always DVR the game and watch it when you get home
ReplyDeleteGo out and have fun! DVR the game! who knows how many Halloweens are left!? BTW thanks for posting my pic! my 15 min. of fame on Stana's blog!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pity you cannot find a way to dress and watch the game
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see how you react to the result when your mind is in full female mode compared to male mode

I have often thought about going to a game at Fenway Park as a woman!
DeleteWhat a lovely idea! Perhaps you could get a group of ladies (trans or otherwise) to make the trip with you.
DeleteI doubt that any place you go out anywhere in New England will not be showing the Sox on a big screen TV.
