Victoria kindly sent me this link at The Pegasus Archive, which contains hundreds of POW images in its Photo Gallery. The Gallery is arranged by country, camps and topic. Search the "Theatre" topic for possible femulations (like the one in today's "Femulator" slot below).
Glamulate Dept.
This week's glamulator is Alana, who recently underwent a glam makeover using the online app "Your Face on a Glamorous Magazine Cover In Seconds!"
What's Up Doc Dept.
I am going to a new (to me) doctor for a physical examination next week. If he sees the shaved parts of my body that males don't normally shave and asks why, should I admit I am trans or should I lie like a president?

ReplyDeleteDon't worry - most doctors won't ask. And if he does, you can say that you prefer the look of a hairless body.

I would absolutely tell him you are trans. I'm guessing you don't go to the doctor on femme? I wonder why not. If your doctor is not comfortable with you as trans, get a new doctor.
ReplyDeleteIt was my primary care provider who referred me to hormone replacement, Which is to say I had my first HRT appointment yesterday and I'm in!
I go back today for blood work and then pick up my prescriptions. I'm officially in the lady club and I am so thrilled!!
Will definitely have to check out the link to the archive, as for the doc, if he asks, tell him. Most of the web knows you're trans whats 1 more person?
ReplyDeleteAbout wearing pants, at work I'm in andro mode most days womens tank top under the work shirt, womens underwear and skinny jeans with knee hi hose, and ugh! Unfortunately my work boots!
When after therapy I decided to begin transition I knew because of medical conditions I needed to get my primary care doctor on board. She admitted to being surprised but also that she had 2 other transgender patients, both ftm and I would be her first MTF. She has been wonderful as a Doctor and a friend who I have been with for 17 years now. Doctors are to do no harm and should be there to help with both your physical and mental health, if feel comfortable withe telling the Doctor your trans it will be much easier in the future.
ReplyDeleteWhy hide being trans. I consider living out and about as trans important. Check the law in CT and see if gender identity is a protected category by law. It is here.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem coming up but also with painted toenails.
ReplyDeleteMarian's right...they won't care. Mine has seen my androgynous sartorial choices, and hasn't flinched.

If he asks (which he won't), you should tell him. You could tell him any way, as it is confidential patient information. They've seen it all, including men with painted nails and pierced ears. But don't lie about it.
ReplyDelete"Hit them with yours purse" ~πHa ha, I like that π π
ReplyDeleteHow do you know your doctor does not read this blog?
ReplyDeleteEven if he does not he can't tell anyone about you being trans
