Thursday was a very busy day out en femme and I will tell you what happened as soon as I catch up with my work. But in the meantime, I offer you photos of me and some of the students from the two Human Sexuality classes at Southern Connecticut State University where I did outreach yesterday.
the paucity of males in attendance notwithstanding, this is quite wonderful.

HI Laurette,
DeleteThe Human Sexuality classes I have outreached have always had a female-to-male ratio of about 5 to 1.
I look forward to your catching up with your work. Don't spare the details, Stana.
ReplyDeleteComing soon, Billie!
DeleteStana.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your outreach to college students. Even a few minds that become more aware/enlightened will ultimately help us all. We'd love it if you'd tape a session sometime so we could see/hear how it goes. That might inspire some of the rest of us to reach out and do the same.
How did you first initiate doing this?
Also, why do they always stand you on a stool for the photo sessions? (LOL!)
Best regards,
Rhonda
Hi Rhonda,
DeleteTaping is something to consider. Thank you for the suggestion.
My support group was the Connecticut Outreach Society and in addition to support for transgenders, they also did outreach. When I felt more confident about going out in public en femme, I joined the outreach team and the rest is herstory.
No stools involved, just stilettos!
Stana
I'm also interested in HOW Stana began doing "out-reach". I suspect she was in college and simply had the right stuff!
DeleteYour mention of the stool is really funny!
