If you are a regular reader here, you know I have a thing about eyebrows.
Of all the makeup skills, doing my eyebrows correctly was the last one I conquered. Actually, I have not completely vanquished my eyebrow issues yet, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
With that, I point you to another useful article on the subject from
Daily Makeover.
By the way, I have not completed answering all your questions and addressing all your suggestions that were the result of
my call for your input last week. I just thought a break in the action was called for and I will return to your questions and suggestions real soon now.
i agree with you Stana.
ReplyDeleteEyebrows are very important to achieve a feminine face.
After applying foundation and setting powder they are usually a bit covered by those products, so it is important to do them after for they to stand out again. There are many products specific for the eyebrows, but i usually just use some dark eye shadow applied with an angled and thin brush. Sometimes i use a bit of kohl eyeliner when i want to get a bit more dramatic look (for parties, mainly). Applying make up only in the upper side of the brow you can create the illusion of them being a bit thinner.
Another thing to have in mind is that eyebrows shape and thickness is influenced by fashion. Luckily for us , femulators, nowadays female eyebrows tend to be a bit thicker, being the ultra-thin style completely "de mode", so it is quite easy with a bit of plucking and common sense to get eyebrows shaped in a unisex look that can work quite well while femulating and that aren´t a deadly giveaway while in guy mode.
