I have a luncheon date with my editor on Wednesday. I am not sure where we will go to eat, but I will femulate appropriately. I think an office girl emulation will fit the bill.
The weather forecast for Wednesday is "partly sunny, with a high near 21." So I better not wear a short skirt and I will probably wear tights and boots to stave off the cold.
It has been over a month since my last outing en femme, so I am looking forward to Wednesday. It will be nice to be out in the company of another woman instead of going solo.
being cold doesn't mean that you can't be fashionable.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, it is a great chance for layering and being "cool" and warm ;)
One of my favorite looks for going out in winter includes leggings, boots and a knitted dress. Then you add a nice scarf and a coat and you are ready to enjoy a day out in the city.
Sometimes i also wear thights under the leggings to be extra warm.
Have fun!!!

I must be a 'crazy' femulator ;) Temputure was 10 F on Saturday evening I wore this skirt in black color: http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom/women/fair-square-prices/best-prices/skirts/east5th-belted-skirt/prod.jump?ppId=1e8cfce&catId=cat100250097&deptId=dept20000013&N=610&topDim=Brand&topDimvalue=east+fifth&dimCombo=Brand|&dimComboVal=east+fifth|¤tDim=Brand¤tDimVal=east+fifth
ReplyDeleteNo leggings or thick pantyhose, gartered stockings with a garter belt and ankle boots. Wore a woman's ski jacket, scarf wrapped around my neck and a stocking hat, insulated gloves. Had a 100 yard walk from my parking space to the entrance to the building. Very little wind and my legs were cold by the time I got inside, but not freezing.
