When I woke up from a dream I had last night, the details of the dream were escaping me quickly, but I do remember one detail. Throughout the dream, I was dressed only in a white 1950s/1960s style panty girdle and longline bra. Nothing else.
Considering how I was dressed, wouldn't the details of that dream be interesting?
Stana,
ReplyDeleteReading your post, I was immediately reminded of the "I dreamed I --- in my Maidenform bra" ads from the 1960s. Here's a link to a post about those ads http://althouse.blogspot.com/2005/09/i-dreamed-i-in-my-maidenform-bra.html

ReplyDeleteTo say the least!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to hazard a guess as to where your dream was taking you, I would go with either preparation for a big social event (with slips and poodle skirt and sweater to follow), or just after this event and you were about to change into some comfortable sleep wear.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
It seems that most of my dreams have a dressing component. The dreams tend to come in waves. Lately I have had several dreams about being out while dressed and several different venues. Some of them have been Halloween based. It is funny how the specifices of the dream fade after waking.
ReplyDeleteLast year I quit smoking and to help do it I used Chantix. One of the side effects of this drug was advertized as the potential for vivid dreams. They were not kidding. For about two months my dream life was vivid, in full color and sound and almost exclusively focused on dressing.
At the time that I was having these dreams I decided that they were so nice and enjoyable that I would write them down. Now, whenever I can remember a dressing related dream I add these new dreams to my written dream collection. I find that going back to read the events that I recall from my dreams to be a pleasant and enjoyable exercise.

I wonder if the details are maybe best forgotten. By the way love the photo of Angelina, are we going to see a series of bride photos of Femulate readers?
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, your post said you dreamed of wearing a "panty girdle and longline bra" but the photo is of a woman in a full, long girdle (panty girdles are only panty length on the bottom) and a regular bra.
ReplyDeleteI wear the exact under things you dreamt about! Too funny! I must say my garments don't look exactly like the garments in the picture you posted, though.
ReplyDeleteI think the details of your dream would've been VERY interesting, Stana!
To address the dream fades, I keep an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder next to my bed and I record all my dreams as best I can. I totally agree with "scalesman", re-reading a dream can be very up-lifting. I've even entertained the idea of putting them into a book.
Angelina is absolutely stunning!
Dear Stana,
ReplyDeleteI prefer the open-bottom girdles. If their bottom is not too low, it allows the bottom of my panties to show. I never wear pantyhose. I prefer nylons attached to garter straps (from either a girdle or garter belt) because as I dress, I love seeing my pretty panties unobstructed. Being a 1944 baby, my “imprint period” for women's clothing was from about 1950 to 1965. I love 1950's/60's full brief nylon tricot panties and full slips (or half slips). Unless I am wearing a dress or skirt that is very short and lined, I always wear a pretty slip. It's delightful to enjoy putting on the beautiful, feminine intimate apparel of a woman. Isn't it so WONDERFUL to be a girl!
Love,
Sheila.
