Victorious is a situation comedy on Nickelodeon. Its cast includes Avan Jogia (above left) and Victoria Justice (above right). In an upcoming episode, Avan's character falls in love with Victoria's and lands a role as a double. By the way, Avan is a male.

And thank you, Cheryl, for alerting me to this!
Your description is just a tad misleading, Stana.
ReplyDeleteThe femulator in question actually stands in for Victoria as a stunt double when she is assigned as a stunt double as a part of the curriculum of her school of the arts. His appearance en femme is brief (the shots you've linked to are actually more "substantial" than his tim on screen.
It's not a big deal at all, but i just thought I'd throw up a tiny clarification.
You have a very interesting site, and I appreciate all the work you put into it.
Avan Jogia looks very cute.
ReplyDeleteWow, very nice doubling :)
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, it has already aired. You can find it on youtube and possibly Hulu. He looks great in it.

IMHO, both the Victorious and the Detroit Fashion Week shots illustrate how although it's not hard to tell the 'femulated' from the real thing (well, most of the time anyway ;o), I think most would agree that Avan and Alex compare very favorably with the genetic girls.
Admirer :o)
If I were him, I spend a week being a girl. It is sooooo adorable and sooooo my sweetest dream.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteIt almost makes up for an episode of Nickelodeon's new show, Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures, that had some of the worst drag in television history: "Epic Girls"
