Support the "Girls"

An e-mail from Jackie alerted me that the boys who emulated girls in a pageant at the Ernest Ward Middle School in Walnut Hill, FL, were receiving flak from some of the folks commenting on the news story about the event.

Seems that the boys put the event together as a fundraiser for the school's cheerleaders, but some "enlightened" individuals found the crossdressing inappropriate and harangued the boys with their comments.

Jackie and I agree that the boys do not deserve the negative comments. Rather, they should be congratulated for their fine work. If you would like to add some positive words to those comments, I urge you to do so here.

  1. I'm not really sure that "help" from men who have actually grown-up TO WEAR DRESSES would exactly be helpful support for these young men.

A bunch of cross dressers crashing in there might actually make things worse for them.

    Use your head.

  2. Jamiegottagun --- You can support the boys without revealing that you are a crossdresser.

  3. You could be forgiven for believing that the femulating boys were real girls - they look that convincing. People who have made negative comments about a group of boys who are doing something positive to help the girls at their school should be ashamed of themselves. What the boys did was fun and for a good cause and harms nobody, except, apparently, some very narrow minded people.

So it's okay to misrepresent yourself, essentially be dishonest, because you are not narrow-minded?

    Sorry, Jamie has a point.

  5. Anonymous --- How will revealing that a commenter is a crossdresser help their cause? I am not trying to score points for the crossdressing community, I am trying to score points for a group of kids who did good and are now getting harassed for what they did.

Also, if there happens to be a trans kid in that group who was using the pageant to express his gender identity, wouldn't it be nice to give him some positive feedback as opposed to receiving negative feedback that might push him back deep in the closet?

With regards to misrepresenting yourself, you don't announce that you are an idiot every time you leave a comment, do you?

  6. As always there are those who feel every one is wrong when they don't fit into what they consider is "normal". The boys did nothing wrong, they should be congradulted for what they did. The narrow minded idiots who don't like what the boys did need to get a life.

  7. I looked at the comments and left one of my own. It seems like there were only 3 grinches in the bunch and that the overwhelming number of comments were in support of the event.

  8. Thanks, Stana, for posting this and to everyone who has already clicked on the link and left comments on the news story. I appreciate it and I'm sure the boys appreciate it, too.

All of the pictures on the news site, as well as those posted on Femulate, show the boys looked great. Austin Cunningham, the blonde in the black dress posted here, could be a model.

Today, I found out the e-mail address to the event creator. Students and teachers return on Jan. 3, but he or she will have it in their inbox when they return. Maybe if the creator of the event is told how much you like it, the womanless beauty pageant will become an annual event. The e-mail address can be found below:

Thanks again for supporting the boys. If you haven't posted a postive comment on the news site, please do so.

The boys worked really hard on this and showed courage to dress up as girls to help a good cause.

    Hugs to all.

    Love,
    Jackie

  9. This is bit a of rigged game since you can simple refuse to post my opinion but I feel compelled to send this anyway.

Your retort may have sounded clever in your head but aside from being snarky and insulting it side-steps the point that Jamiegottagun made: A group of crossdressers leaping to the defense of those kids is not helping them. Your thought to simply withhold information as to why you are defending them is dishonest.

If I were so inclined I could go to that site and reveal that a potion of the supporters are crossdressers themselves and seek any chance to rationalize their fetish. I could point everyone who posts there back to your site for proof.

I won’t do that because, as hard as it may be for you to believe, I support the actions of those boys. But you seem so desperate to attack people who don’t support their actions that misrepresenting your motive is acceptable.

  10. THE PEOPLE WHO MADE NEGATIVE REMARKS ARE THE ONES WHO REALLY ARE SICK. THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING THAT ONLY FUN AND SUPPORT WORTHY CAUSES.
    GREAT JOB BOYS!!!
