Looks like he's wearing an Axfords corset in the pic. Those are serious pieces of shaping hardware -- I inherited one from Mrs. Roscoe and it literally has steel plates on either side of the busk opening in front.
I bought a wedding gown once on EBay but gave it away not long after the box arrived. The dress is the only piece of non-male clothing I've ever purchased that made me wonder if I was indulging that side of my personality a bit too much.

Roscoe --- I own a similar corset and it is definitely built to do some serious shaping.
ReplyDeleteIf you're on the market, I bought Mrs. Roscoe's last corset from Period Corsets in Seattle. They're pricey, but the products are first rate.
