Amelia --- The VHS now sells for $98.35 new and $44.99 used on Amazon, so it must be out-of-print and becoming rarer by the minute. I paid much less than that when the tape came out in 1996 (which is one of the few good things about being an old lady).
Interesting pageant photo. Do you have any details?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous --- It is from the pageant held in New York City in 1967, which was documented in the 1968 film The Queen.
ReplyDeleteIn "How to Host a Womanless Pageant" there were comments after the article and people were mentioning how much "fun" it sounds.
ReplyDeleteBut it's so much more than JUST fun!
Laurie --- You betcha!
ReplyDeleteLOL

Amelia --- Thank you for the links to The Queen videos. I have the film on VHS; it has not been released on DVD so far.
ReplyDeleteStaci:
ReplyDeleteIs your VHS longer than what is shown on YouTube or is that the entire movie?
Amelia --- The VHS is 68 minutes in length. I cannot access YouTube at this time, so I don't know how the online video compares.
ReplyDeleteStaci:
ReplyDeleteIt's only about 18 minutes long, so there is plenty left out. Too bad.
